Much better than the Big Matt to me, but I'm sort of over nut burgers in general.

I don't really feel that social worker-type pull to the homeless, never have. And if someone is scary (homeless or not), then safety first. I think the thing about this situation was the guy in the car was so not acting in a let-me-fix-you sort of way...more dignified man-to-man dialogue, very cool.Candice Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11686226011417755561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039618853604091390.post-1721198303582385102008-04-11T15:34:00.000-07:002008-04-11T15:34:00.000-07:00I have a weird complex about homeless people. So now I have become a little more hardened, but I appreciate your kindness and awareness to see how you can always go the extra step. Oh-yeah and the sandwich you had is called the Coco-phoria. Probably my favorite from Rawvolution, although I have yet to try the Big Mac.Disahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14747962207896307541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039618853604091390.post-20403785387723517152008-04-08T09:15:00.000-07:002008-04-08T09:15:00.000-07:00Wow...what a nice story...Glad to know that there ...Wow...what a nice story...Glad to know that there are still compassionate people in this world.
Sometimes, you would never know it.
Thanks for sharing!

RebekahRebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16989169897143070754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6039618853604091390.post-18621278837479987582008-04-02T22:18:00.000-07:002008-04-02T22:18:00.000-07:00Rosie and Michelle - Glad the post conveyed what I...Rosie and Michelle - Glad the post conveyed what I was feeling. I love witnessing things like that b/c it's a reminder to me and your post is a reminder to me to be aware of those around me - and not just the homeless either. I need to slow down sometimes, be patient and sensitive. And don't feel like a creep! You took a moment to extend a helping hand to someone in need - that alone is a lesson for many of us. The young man's actions are also a beautiful lesson of how we could be. I love what you wrote at the end - I also hope and pray the troubled man finds another path toward peace - I believe with people like you and this young man, he will. Thanks again for a beautiful post!HiHoRosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06607623248887570230noreply@blogger.com
